This looks pretty tasty. Do you always use the same recipe?I usually semi brine mine. I've been cooking it for hmm 4 years. I'll tag this to try it next year. Or would it work as well for a chicken?
I don't do a turkey every year, usually whomever is hosting it makes the turkey. I do like to try new recipes though. This would be great for chicken! And turkeys don't have to just be for Thanksgiving. You could roast a turkey then use the meat and broth to make a big pot of soup and freeze some of the soup for easy meals later. I'm a big fan of that kind of convenience - homemade freezer meals.
