Paleo Apple Crisp

Since I used canned apple pie from last summer, it is technically not Paleo (due to the corn starch).  The topping, however, is very Paleo and very tasty.
So start out with a jar of canned apple pie.  Super easy.
The topping is 2/3 of a cup of almond meal, 1/3 cup organic brown sugar, a dash of salt and cinnamon, and somewhere around half a cup of butter.  Is butter Paleo?
And then some pecans, because that's delicious.
Top the apples, and bake for 20-30 minutes.  Since the apples are already softened, the baking time is somewhat negotiable.  Mine was a little bit runny, but still tasted just great.
